"Planting Succulents in Containers"
One of the participants at the workshop called it "a blast"! There were 18 people who came and had a great time arranging succulents in containers of all shapes and sizes. Kathy Cerra brought her own containers!
October 2, 2008 Meeting
"How to Grow Beautiful Succulents"
This presentation was also very well attended and Liane Enkelis from Armstrong Nurseries even showed us some succulents unfamiliar to us. It was wonderful she could sell us what she brought ... including the arrangement she demonstrated by transplanting multiple plants into a single container. She gifted us with tips on replacing lawn with succulents, including sun/shade and watering info.
September 4, 2008 Meeting
"Growing Orchids in the Valley" with Norma & Charles Johnson
We had a 'full house' for this fully packed presentation about differing orchids; indoor and outdoor. Naturally, the 'care and feeding' and the transplanting demo was valuable to the group. Charles welcomes anyone to their open So. Calif. Orchid Society monthly meetings in Burbank.
