In contrast to the decorative form of flower arranging in western countries, Japanese flower arrangement emphasizes the linear aspects. The Japanese have developed the art to include the vase, stems, leaves, and branches, as well as the flowers. The love of line is the most salient feature in differentiating Japanese flower arrangement from all others.
Lavender Lavender Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) This beautiful, fragrant flower makes a wonderful addition to herb gardens, perennial borders, and wildflower areas. Place a pot of Agastache on porches and patios where its fragrance can be fully appreciated. The beauty and fragrance of the flowers make it highly desirable for cutting.
