2007 Central Atlantic Regional Unified Project
“Kids and Plants, Naturally…..”
The states of the Central Atlantic Region welcome the challenge to “Restore Our Heritage” by Nurturing the Earth with Native Plants. This theme implies that the states within the Region will promote projects, such as this, that will focus on the education of our youth regarding planting native plants in each state. This project will allow each club the opportunity to participate with youth and youth groups, in programs that will bring them “Back to the Future with Native Plants”.
Club sponsored youth or youth groups will be able to participate in this project. Whether it is creating naturalized areas of native plants, introducing native plants into existing plantings or educational programs about native plants for youth, this project will introduce growing native plants---“Naturally to Our Youth”.
