The Ouachita Hosta & Shade Plant Society
is a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational organization formed exclusively to promote knowledge and interest in hostas and shade plants, to foster development of new and improved hosta and shade plant varieties, and to encourage cultivation and usefulness of hostas and shade plants in the landscape.  | OHSPS was established on November 4, 2006 and serves more than 80 members in Central Arkansas.
Regular meetings are held at Garland County Library in Hot Springs, Arkansas on the first Saturday of February, March, April, and October. The annual meeting is held on the first Saturday in November.
Most meetings are devoted to programs involving special speakers. |
Membership benefits include - special sales of new hostas and other shade plants, and

- discounts on purchases at participating nurseries.
