The FGCNYS offers numerous awards to deserving garden clubs and individuals. For a complete listing of all awards and their requirements, please see the blue New York State Awards Manual revised in 2004. For National Garden Club awards, please go to their web site at nationalgardenclubs.org. For Central Atlantic Regional Awards, please go to their web site at gardencentral.org/car. For any information on awards, please contact the New York State Awards Chairman, Norma Dowd. Many of these awards must first go through the District Awards Chairman. That should be the first person you should contact who will give you the deadlines for application. Awards year goes from January 1 to December 31st.
