Garden Therapy started at the Veterans Hospital  White River Junction

Four Blue Star Memorial Highway Markers placed

Developed a Radio  program throughout the state with such topics as, Keep Vermont Beautiful, Civic  Beatification, Trees in your communities, Landscape for Outdoor Living, What Vermont Garden Clubs do for Vermont, etc.

Compiled and published " Endangered wild plants and wildflowers in Vermont.

1971 
Joined Vermont Green Up Day.

1975 
Initiated State Scholarship program (Mabel Mayforth)
