MEETINGS HELD AT THE CLUBHOUSE

Garden Therapy Outreach Project will begin on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 1:00 pm
Project will again be at Meals on Wheels Plus Adult Day Center in Oneco.
Hands-on projects involving natural materials will be emphasized during this program. According to the staff person at MOW, the clients are very enthusiastic about Manatee River Garden Club volunteers and look forward to our coming to their facility. We will be helping clients make small flower arrangements, Christmas ornaments, terrariums, working with herbs, dried flower projects, etc.
After arriving at MOW facility, volunteers spend approximately 30 - 45 minutes working with the clients. Total time commitment required for this activity is less than 2 hours each visit. (and that includes travel time)
