Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa, Inc.,
is a non-profit 501c-3 educational organization,
founded in 1928

FCGI has 1610 members in 60 clubs in seven districts in Iowa. We are a member of the National Garden Clubs residing in the Central Region District. National Garden Clubs, Inc.. has members from every state in the nation plus international affiliates.

Mission
To coordinate the interests of the garden clubs of Iowa and bring them into closer relationships of mutual helpfulness by association, aid in the protection of trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and birds; encourage civic beauty and study the fine art of gardening in all its aspects.
