North Bend Garden Club is located on the Southern Oregon Coast in Coos County known for its history of Tall Ships, fishing, crabbing, clamming, logging, lumber mills and at one time coal mining. Native Americans have a rich history here continued by the Coos and Coquille Indian tribes. Our beautiful Coos Bay surrounds North Bend and our neighboring city, Coos Bay.
North Bend and the Southern Oregon Coast also boast sand dunes enhanced by the wind, favored by many two and four-wheel enthusiasts
Our temperate weather lends itself to beautiful flower and vegetable gardens although our sandy soil does need amending.
Our Garden Club welcomes anyone who is interested in preserving our heritage, protecting our environment and the beautification of our city including extermination of the noxious weeds that threaten our forests. Click here to enter |
