Club Project Island Project: The Plum Beach Garden Club's  plan, design and construction of gardens at the  State traffic islands off Route 1 in North Kingstown will commence in  2009. This "Gateway to Wickford Village"   will include a Blue Star Memorial. A fundraiser for the Island Project, and the club's  gardens at the Historic Gilbert Stuart Home, Old Library Park, and other community projects will be held at the beautiful, ocean view  Dunes Club in Narragansett  on June 17, 2009.
