The South Central Region is the regional affiliate of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., a non-profit educational organization. This region is composed of four (4) states; Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. An annual regional convention is held each spring with states alternating as hosts. Objectives of this region are to protect and conserve natural resources, to promote civic beautification, and to encourage the improvement of roadsides and parks.
