There are several ways to be part of the project.
1) Your club may make donations to Habitat by sending check to Marjorie Lloyd, 801 Vanosdale Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909 - TFGC District IV - Memo Habitat
2) Your club may apply for a $50.00 grant from District IV for a local project by submitting your plan and request to Janet Oakes (see above)
3) You make special Homeowner gifts in your area.
Please take pictures of your activities and mail to Janet along with any publicity your club may have been given. Also, try to keep Janet informed at to anything your club is doing in this area. In Knox County, they photograph the family and dedicate the landscaping the day they plant.
We have allocated to the Knox County Hugs for Habitat a $50 grant to each house built by Habitat - it is to buy suggested tools needed to care for landscaping. Homeowners attend classes that help them learn about caring for their lawn.
